If you've never been to Galcos Old World Grocery in Highland Park, why not go this weekend? It's like a time warp back to 1955 when you step inside. Hundreds of vintage sodas line the shelves. You can make your own soda and grab a great sandwich from the deli in the back too. With history dating back to 1897, Galcos has been around for over half of Los Angeles' life! Here's to another 127 years.
